A predominantly wetland park Orang is
famous for its rhino and tiger populations. But there is
more to Orang than just these two endangered species. Other
wildlife to be found include wild elephant, otter, fishing
cat, hog deer, pangolin and several reptiles including python.
Bird life is prolific and includes Bengal florican, pelican,
Adjutant Stork along with about 250 other species of birds.
Due to poaching the rhino population
gone down terribly, at present the rhino population is only
25.
